Our Barangaroo venue offers a stunning waterfront dining experience within one of Sydney’s most vibrant precincts. We are currently seeking a professional and customer-focused full-time Trade Waiter to join our team at our Barangaroo location . About the Role This is a full-time position responsible for delivering high-quality table service and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities ·Prepare and set tables to ensure an organised, professional and comfortable dining environment ·Greet guests warmly and present menus and beverage lists ·Provide menu recommendations, explain daily specials, and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ·Serve food and beverages in a timely manner in line with the restaurant’s service standards ·Provide wine and beverage recommendations, including basic wine pairing guidance, and support the Sommelier team in delivering premium beverage service ·Assist with wine service, including presenting, opening, and pouring wines in accordance with service standards ·Clear tables, return dishes and cutlery to the kitchen, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas ·Refill drinks as required and remove empty glassware and bottles efficiently ·Provide bills and process payments accurately, including handling cash and electronic transactions ·Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service throughout the entire guest experience About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A relevant qualification such as Certificate III or IV in Hospitality, or equivalent At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Good understanding of customer service standards and restaurant operations A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality What We Offer Competitive salary package ($70,000 – $80,000 super) Full-time, stable employment Opportunity to work in a premium waterfront venue Supportive team environment with career development opportunities Work with a well-established and reputable hospitality brand How to Apply If you are passionate about hospitality and enjoy delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you.
