The Department of Education is seeking qualified and passionate Teacher Aide (Educational Interpreter - Auslan) to join a Statewide Recruitment Pool to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students across Queensland state schools. Educational Interpreters play a critical role in ensuring equitable access to the curriculum, classroom instruction, and school life by providing high-quality Auslan-English interpreting services. About The Role As a Teacher Aide (Educational Interpreter - Auslan), you will: Provide Auslan-English interpreting in classroom and school settings Support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students to access curriculum content and classroom interactions Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists and school leadership Maintain professional interpreting standards and ethical boundaries Contribute to inclusive education practices and culturally safe learning environments Appointments may be Permanent or Temporary, Full-time or Part-time, depending on school need and available vacancies.
