This position requires excellent communication and time management skills with ability to prioritise in a busy, private billing, six doctor General Practice. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player and contribute to a quality practice offering continuity of care to patients. Good computer skills are required and experience with Best Practice software will be highly regarded. The successful applicant will possess well developed interpersonal skills (verbal and written), an excellent knowledge of requirements for a medical practice as well as the demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of clinical practice and patient care in addition to the ability to work autonomously and within a supportive team environment. Key Selection Criteria Essential: Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Minimum 12 months in General Practice Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement Excellence in all areas of Childhood & Adult Vaccines, AIR Experience in CDM including CVC, Health Assessments & Care Plans ECG, spirometry, audiometry, ear syringing, BSL Sterilization & infection control Ordering supplies including vaccines and medical Stock Management of recall and reminder systems including vaccinations Maintaining cold chain management systems Triage Desirable: Previous Accreditation Knowledge of Best Practice Knowledge of MBS item billing codes Nurse Immuniser Experience in Staff & GP Registrar education *Remuneration will be dependent on experience and consideration will be given to working school hours, if needed.
