We are a growing transport and logistics company currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR Truck Driver with a valid Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced driver who is confident handling regulated freight, committed to compliance, and available to start early morning shifts. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate HR vehicles for local and/or regional deliveries, including transport of dangerous goods • Ensure all DG freight is handled in accordance with the Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) Code • Conduct pre-start, daily, and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensure correct labelling, placarding, and documentation of dangerous goods • Load, unload, and secure freight in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements • Complete delivery paperwork, manifests, and records accurately • Maintain accurate driver logbooks and ensure all compliance documentation is completed and up to date • Adhere to all WHS, fatigue management, and road safety regulations • Report any hazards, incidents, or compliance issues immediately • Maintain high standards of customer service • Keep the vehicle clean, organised, and well-maintained on a regular basis • Take pride in the presentation and upkeep of the assigned truck Skills & Experience Required • Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver Licence • Minimum 2 years of HR driving experience (essential) • Current Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence or willing to obtain before commencement • Ability to start early mornings and work flexible hours when required • Strong knowledge of ADG Code, CoR, fatigue management, and transport compliance requirements • Clean driving record with a strong safety focus • Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules • Good communication and time management skills • Physically fit for manual handling duties Mandatory Pre-Employment Requirements • Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment • Must pass a drug and alcohol test prior to commencement • Willingness to undergo ongoing/random drug and alcohol testing if required What We Offer • Stable, ongoing work with consistent hours • Supportive and professional team environment • Well-maintained fleet and strong safety culture • Opportunity for long-term employment and growth • Immediate start available
