Full time, fixed term for 12 months (possibility of extension) Join a forward‑thinking team driving some of the University’s most exciting strategic ventures and initiatives HE0 7: $112,628 - $122,702 plus 17% Superannuation About the opportunity We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Advisor, Strategic Planning and Ventures to play a key role in shaping and supporting major strategic initiatives across the University. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high‑impact projects that influence the future direction of our institution. Working closely with the Director, Senior Advisors, project leads and a wide range of internal stakeholders, you will support the establishment, implementation and evaluation of new strategic initiatives. You’ll help bring ideas to life - facilitating workshops, coordinating project activities, synthesising research and insights, and supporting governance and reporting processes that guide key decision‑making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where collaboration, critical thinking and strategic problem‑solving are essential. Key responsibilities: Support the design, planning and delivery of new strategic initiatives across portfolios and faculties Coordinate workshops, focus groups and other engagement activities to inform project direction Assist with research, due diligence, risk analysis and development of business cases and recommendations Prepare reports, briefing materials and documentation for senior governance bodies Monitor project progress, identify risks and maintain high standards of data integrity and record‑keeping Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support successful project outcomes About you Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent administrative skills with a solid understanding of the project lifecycle, documentation, standards and methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting information to varied audiences. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within complex stakeholder environments. Experience supporting or managing projects, ideally in a large or multifaceted organisation. High attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to anticipate and resolve issues.
