Overview : Glengowrie Dental is a modern, well-established practice committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a professional and welcoming environment. Our clinic is equipped with advanced dental technology, including digital scanning, laser dentistry, and implant systems. We pride ourselves on maintaining exceptional clinical standards while fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture. We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist with a broad range of procedures, including complex and cosmetic treatments. You will play a vital role in supporting efficient clinical workflows while delivering outstanding patient care. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week, based in Glengowrie, SA. Main tasks : -Provide chairside assistance during a wide range of general dental procedures, including: ○ Dental implants ○ Laser treatments ○ Aligner procedures ○ Cosmetic dentistry ○ Surgical and restorative treatments -Prepare and maintaintreatment rooms in accordance with Australian infection control standards -Perform instrument reprocessing and sterilisation in compliance with current guidelines -Ensure patient comfortand support throughout procedures -Manage instruments, materials, and stock control -Assist with digital scanning, 3-D printing, and dental software systems -Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinical environment -Contribute positively to team workflow and patient experience Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience : -Minimum of a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting qualification or higher qualification -At least 1 year of relevant industry experience Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge : -Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation protocols -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -High level of organisation and attention to detail -Ability to work both independently and as part of a team -Professional presentation and strong work ethic -Availability to work weekends and after-hours shifts -Experience assisting with dental implants and surgical procedures (desirable) -Experience with digital scanning, 3-D printing, and dental practice management software (desirable) -Experience in cosmetic dentistry (desirable) -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting (desirable) Benefits: -Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) -Supportive, friendly, and professional team culture -Exposure to advanced dental procedures and technology -Ongoing training and professional development Annual salary will be between $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
