Applicants in their 2nd or 3rd year of apprenticeship are also encouraged to apply This four-year apprenticeship offers hands-on experience while completing your MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Fitting / machining) and becoming a fully qualified tradesperson Job Details In this role, you will assist in the safe and efficient operation of equipment under the supervision of experienced tradespeople. Responsibilities: Maintain and repair BOC equipment on-site Service and refurbish vessels and systems Provide hands-on support for customer equipment needs Carry out audits, inspections, and safety checks Install food prep and freezer equipment Deliver services across multiple CES markets as needed Service both company and customer-owned gas equipment Perform gas purges and equipment rebuilds Hours Monday to Friday: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Overtime: May be required outside standard hours, depending on job requirements Benefits Full time 4-year contract including paid annual and personal leave Paid weekly Access to 1:1 mentoring The chance to learn from experienced tradespeople Opportunity to access Government support payments of up to a total of $2500 for the first two years of your apprenticeship paid in four instalments About You The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and possess the following: A valid driver’s licence A Construction White Card The ability to follow instructions and work safely Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work overtime and travel to various sites Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Full COVID-19 vaccination required for hospital-based work Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and police check Apply Now Kickstart your career with an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain valuable industry experience.
