They are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter / GP Line Setter to join their Maintenance & Engineering team. About the Role This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and setting up Grain Popper (GP) production machinery in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You'll play a key role in: Ensuring smooth production operations Minimising downtime Supporting production changeovers and maintenance activities Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance tasks safely and within scope Reduce downtime and optimise production efficiency Support production changeovers and cleaning Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks Diagnose and repair mechanical faults Complete maintenance records and documentation Perform daily equipment inspections Assist with spare parts management Assemble/disassemble GP heads Follow GMP, QA, and safety procedures Maintain high housekeeping standards Be available for occasional weekend/shutdown work Skills & Experience Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (essential) Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing (highly desirable) Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience with pneumatics and industrial systems Knowledge of food processing machinery Familiarity with maintenance systems/software Strong communication and teamwork skills Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) What's on Offer ✔ Competitive pay: $55-$60 per hour ✔ Stable, long-term opportunity ✔ Supportive and safety-focused team ✔ Work with a reputable food manufacturing company ✔ Opportunities for growth and development Apply Now If you're a skilled Maintenance Fitter looking for a stable and rewarding role in FMCG, we'd love to hear from you.
