About the role We’re seeking a Collections Governance Analyst, to strengthen our risk, controls, and assurance framework by delivering high ‑ quality governance reporting, audit support, and compliance oversight. You’ll join an innovative team, who partner closely with stakeholders across Customer Solutions to uplift controls, improve processes, and build a stronger, more mature governance culture. Day-to-day, you will: Lead and execute assurance/control testing across Customer Solutions & Australian Markets Partnering (CS & AMP) function, validating design and operating effectiveness, maintaining evidence and clear audit trails Own and maintain risk registers and governance reporting in line with the Enterprise Risk Framework, supporting proactive risk identification, assessment, escalation, and executive-level reporting Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits for CS&, including audit planning, scope definition, evidence coordination, timely response to requests, and validation of findings Drive end-to-end remediation of audit and assurance findings—partnering with management to design practical remediation plans, tracking progress, validating completion, and reporting status and themes Support the monthly compliance program and broader controls/compliance activities, liaising with Tolling Assurance, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Compliance Coordinate and manage the annual update of the Delegation of Financial Authority, ensuring alignment with organisational changes and control expectations Partner with business teams to uplift control maturity—educate stakeholders, embed requirements into projects/processes, and redesign/reporting where needed (e.g., credit/refund reporting) This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Proven experience in audit/assurance testing (internal or external), including control mapping, risk identification/rating, and remediation follow through Strong communicator and coordinator—able to translate control/assurance concepts for non-specialists and drive evidence gathering across multiple teams Data savvy with the ability to extract/analyse datasets to draw insights that inform risk, control, or assurance activities Experience working in regulated, high- volume customer or financial environments (e.g. utilities, transport, financial services) is desirable Comfortable operating in ambiguity—able to build or improve processes where they don’t yet exist and create clear, reliable outputs Tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline; CA/CPA desirable; familiarity with risk systems (e.g., ARM or equivalent) is advantageous.
