We are currently seeking skilled and motivated professionals for the following roles: Telecommunications Linesworker Fibre Optic Splicer & Tester Security Systems Technician Role 1: Telecommunications Linesworker We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Linesworker to join our team, working on a range of infrastructure and telecommunications projects across NSW. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications lines and associated equipment Perform cable hauling, jointing, and installation works Conduct basic testing and fault diagnosis of network systems Read and interpret technical plans and specifications Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations Work independently and as part of a team across various project sites Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Telecommunications Linesworker Relevant qualification (Certificate III or higher in Telecommunications or related field preferred) Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements Good communication and teamwork skills White Card (mandatory) Driver’s licence (mandatory) Role 2: Fibre Optic Splicer & Tester – Transmission & Critical Infrastructure We are seeking an experienced Fibre Optic Splicer & Tester to join our growing team, working on high-profile infrastructure projects across NSW. This role involves end-to-end fibre installation, splicing, testing, and commissioning within critical environments. Key Responsibilities Fibre optic splicing (SM & MM), including ribbon and loose tube OTDR testing (bi-directional) and insertion loss (IL) testing Fault finding and troubleshooting fibre networks Installation of fibre infrastructure including ODFs, FOBOTs, and patching Preparation of test reports and documentation (OTDR traces, IL results) Reading and interpreting network drawings and schematics Working on live networks and within critical infrastructure environments Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in fibre splicing and testing Strong experience with OTDR (EXFO / VIAVI preferred) Experience in fibre certification and reporting White Card (mandatory) Driver’s licence (mandatory) Ability to work on-site and regionally as required Highly Desirable OPGW fibre jointing and testing experience Experience in substations, transmission, or major infrastructure projects Experience with TransGrid or similar utility projects Knowledge of DWDM / backbone networks Role 3: Security Systems Technician (CCTV, Access Control & Networking) We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Technician specialising in CCTV, Access Control, and IP Networking. You will be working on critical infrastructure projects including BESS sites, substations, and commercial developments.
