SAP BW / Native HANA Developer Contract Type: June 30 th with likely extensions | Start: ASAP Are you a hands-on SAP BW / Native HANA developer ready to make an immediate impact? We’re looking for an experienced professional to clear a growing backlog of data and reporting development work in a delivery-focused role. This isn’t about greenfield architecture or designing dashboards – it’s about getting things done efficiently and effectively. What You’ll Do: Develop and enhance SAP BW/4HANA data models (ADSO, Open ODS Views, transformations). Perform native HANA development to support BW and reporting requirements. Deploy and manage HANA database artefacts using XSA & HDI. Manage transport requests across environments Ensure data models are robust, performant, and ready for downstream tools like Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and prioritise backlog items. What We’re Looking For: Strong SAP BW and BW/4HANA hands-on development experience. Proven data modelling expertise in BW and/or native HANA. Experience with XSA and HDI deployment. Effective management of SAP transport requests. Ability to thrive in a delivery-focused, backlog-driven environment. Independent, productive, and ready to hit the ground running. Nice to Have: Experience integrating with Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud. Exposure to government or regulated environments. Location: Hobart preferred, but candidates based on the Mainland open to travel will be considered. Flexible onsite/remote arrangements depending on project needs.
