Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Mechanical Tradesperson to join our operation in Port Latta. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to join our maintenance team at Port Latta. This position includes assisting in repairs and servicing all fixed plant equipment, including tank farm, pumps, conveyors, furnaces and ship loading reclaimers & equipment. Day to day In this role you will be responsible for: Assisting in continuous improvement and process development projects within the Maintenance team Working safely and undertaking all duties required for the position in a diligent and competent manner Carrying out and assisting in all mechanical maintenance and repairs to fixed plant and equipment Working an even time 7 on / 7 off day shift roster Who you are To be successful in this role you have: Current high-risk licences- Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding would advantageous Previous fixed plant maintenance experience would be advantageous Sound knowledge and understanding of mechanical maintenance concepts and principles. Good interpersonal, organisational skills Current full manual drivers’ licence Certificate 3 Mechanical Engineering (Fitter) Who we are We're Grange Resources , Australia's oldest and most experienced magnetite producer - combining both mining and pellet production expertise.
