About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join our Public Health team. This role provide support to and empower community-based public health staff to build their capacity and confidence in implementing outreach program activities. This role is available part-time or full-time until 30 June 2026 and will require travel to the East Arnhem region. Successful applicants will have access to a range of benefits, including: Competitive salary of $101,226 - $106,497 per annum 12% superannuation Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900pa plus a further $2,650pa on Meals and Entertainment Key Responsibilities Provide secretarial support by coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and through the coordination and dissemination of appropriate information to relevant persons and organisations. Monitor and manage Public Health team spending processes. Provide logistical support in the planning and delivery of Public Health workshops, conferences, professional development opportunities and training events. Provide support and advice on the continuous quality improvement of administrative processes and documents. Maintain shared calendars and coordinate travel arrangements within the Public Health Unit. Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment. Other duties as directed by the Public Health Manager as required. About You You are a committed professional with experience in public health or health services and a strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control. You Will Bring An understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination An understanding of the issues faced by Yolŋu people living in remote settings Extensive experience providing administrative support to health services, programs, or public health organisations Demonstrated understanding of health promotion principles and the social determinants of health within an Aboriginal public health context Experience implementing and using monitoring and evaluation tools To view the full requirements, please click on the Job Description.
