About This Role Your new role: As a Plaster Technician / Allied Health Assistant, you will supervise and coordinate the plaster service for orthopaedic patients within the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department and inpatient units at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Working under the direction of the multidisciplinary team, you'll provide high-quality clinical and administrative support while contributing to a safe, professional, and compassionate patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical clinical work, thrives in a team environment, and understands the importance of working within scope while delivering excellent patient care. Key responsibilities Apply and remove casts safely, with a strong understanding of orthopaedic anatomy and risks Assist in specialised clinical screening and treatment programs as delegated Provide clear education to patients and carers on defined topics Maintain accurate patient records in line with legal and organisational requirements About You You're a skilled and reliable Allied Health Assistant or Plaster Technician who values teamwork, patient safety, and respectful care.
