Assignment Details: Start Date: ASAP Duration: 4 to 6 weeks Schedule: 3 days per week Key Responsibilities: Conduct site assessments to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions Oversee drug and alcohol testing processes in line with policy and legal requirements Identify, report, and manage workplace hazards and risks Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices Report incidents, injuries, and near misses promptly and accurately Support the development and implementation of WHS policies and procedures Conduct risk assessments and assist in preparing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) Facilitate toolbox talks and safety briefings with staff Assist in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions Maintain accurate WHS records and documentation Provide advice and guidance to staff and management on WHS matters Assist with audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives About You: Previous experience in a WHS Advisor or similar role Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively Relevant WHS qualifications If you are available immediately and looking for a short-term opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
