About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a Grade Control Geologist to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Senior Project Geologist and operates on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on providing geological support to mining operations to help optimise ore extraction and support safe, efficient production. Your primary responsibilities will include: Planning and coordinating grade control drilling programs, including drill spacing, pad preparation, and contractor oversight. Monitoring drilling and production activities, ensuring data quality (QAQC) and adherence to schedules. Logging diamond drill core and maintaining accurate geological and drilling datasets. Conducting geological interpretation to support orebody understanding and short-term mine planning. Completing underground face mapping, stope inspections, and drill rig inspections. Supporting geological modelling, documentation updates, and collaborating with Mine Geology, Resource Geology, and Exploration teams. About You Our ideal candidate will have some mine geology or exploration experience, or be a recent graduate with relevant undergraduate or vacation experience. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: A tertiary qualification in geology or a related discipline. Familiarity with underground grade control, including sampling, active downhole survey monitoring, and geological logging. Proficiency in orebody interpretation and modelling. Exposure to daily drilling activities and contractor supervision. Ideally, some experience with mining software such as Vulcan, Leapfrog, MapInfo, Deswik, and Geobank. A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
