Forklift Operator 1:30PM - 10:00PM | Monday - Friday | $41.66 P/H | Altona North Location Transcend are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our high profiled client. This role involves operating an Electric Counterbalance Forklift as well as performing manual handling duties. The successful candidate will be comfortable working both on and off the forklift in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate an Electric Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently. Load and unload trucks with steel products (4–6 metre lengths). Bundle and stage materials for dispatch or storage. Move, stack, and organise stock within the warehouse or yard. Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift. Ensure all loads are secured and handled in accordance with safety. standards. Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues. Criteria Full Australian Work Rights. Valid High Risk Forklift License (LF). Experience operating an Electric Counterbalance Forklift (Essential). Ability to handle long-length steel products safely (Highly Regarded). Willingness to perform manual labour and work off the forklift as required. Strong attention to safety and detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.
