The Role This Commercial Manager position is key to providing financial insights to support pricing, contract strategy, and key business decisions. Your duties will include (but not be limited to): Partner with Project Managers and Sales teams to develop and maintain pricing models for bids and multi-year projects Analyse pricing, costs and commercial terms to support negotiations, forecast outcomes, and improve win rates Lead financial analysis of contract performance, including margin projections, cost-to-complete, variance analysis and profitability drivers Partner with Contracts and Operations to validate costs, model profitability, identify risks/opportunities, and provide actionable insights to senior management Lead project accounting, managing forecasts, budgets, revenue recognition and cost tracking for multi-year contracts. Deliver monthly financials, dashboards, and insights, while developing scalable processes to support business growth and complex contracts Your Background To be considered for this role, you should have the following skills and attributes: Experience with complex, multi-year commercial contracts (e.g., construction, defence, infrastructure) Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to influence and provide insights to operational and executive teams Skilled in building financial models, analysing costs and supporting commercial decision-making Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking and reporting on cost-to-complete Highly proactive, personable and confident in partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
