SkyCity Adelaide is looking for a Cage Cashier to join our Cash Handling team. About the opportunity In this role you will provide high‑quality cash handling services through the accurate and timely counting, recording and processing of cash, coin, casino value instruments, cheques and bank transfer requests. You’ll be responsible for balancing floats, issuing cheques, processing customer and gaming machine payouts, and ensuring the correct use of cashless gaming products and EFTPOS. Your work will support both customers and internal teams, requiring strict adherence to procedures, compliance requirements and confidentiality standards. You’ll play an important part in maintaining the integrity of financial transactions and support our gambling harm minimisation practices across the venue while contributing to a smooth and efficient cage operation. About you You present with a professional image and a friendly, engaging manner, and you enjoy building rapport with customers while staying sharply focused on accuracy and detail. You thrive in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment and can manage multiple tasks at once, even under pressure. You communicate clearly, follow procedures confidently and demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills. You’re someone who takes accountability, works well within a team and maintains positive working relationships across departments. Previous cash handling experience is essential, and experience in banking or finance is highly regarded. You’re adaptable, motivated and physically capable of meeting the manual handling requirements of the role, and you’re ready to work across a 24/7 roster while bringing enthusiasm, alertness and a commitment to continuous improvement.
