About the Role A South Australian Government division is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner to support critical digital projects in the Fisheries & Aquaculture division. This hands-on role starts ASAP and runs until 30 June 2026 , with the opportunity to shape future ICT product initiatives. The successful candidate will act as the Product Owner for applications used by the division, focusing on delivering digital services — including online forms — for licence and lease holders. You will lead feature definition, manage the backlog, coordinate releases, and facilitate Agile ceremonies to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Act as Product Owner for Fisheries & Aquaculture applications and digital initiatives. Define features and requirements, translate business needs into actionable user stories. Manage product backlog, prioritisation, and Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups). Engage and manage stakeholders across business and technical teams. Support software development projects delivering online forms to customers. Coordinate software releases and ensure smooth deployment of enhancements. Key Skills & Experience Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments. Strong experience with Jira (mandatory) and Confluence (highly desirable). Experience in delivering software solutions that include online forms. Business Analysis experience desirable. Experience coordinating software releases is a plus. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills.
