This opportunity is ideal for someone who specialises in Canvas Apps and PowerApps development and enjoys delivering scalable, user-centric solutions within complex enterprise environments. This role offers meaningful public sector impact, strong stakeholder engagement, and the chance to contribute to modern digital service delivery across Queensland. About the Role As a Senior Software Developer, you will lead the design and development of Microsoft Power Platform solutions , with a strong emphasis on Canvas Apps and PowerApps . You’ll work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, SMEs and Testers to translate business requirements into secure, high-performing applications. You’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team delivering modern, cloud-based solutions within a structured government environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps within the Power Platform. Build and optimise PowerApps solutions integrated with Dynamics 365 and Azure services. Develop automated workflows using Power Automate. Customise and extend Dynamics 365 where required. Implement secure, scalable solutions aligned with governance standards. Translate functional requirements into technical designs and documentation. Contribute to DevOps practices, source control, and CI/CD pipelines. Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers. About You Essential Skills & Experience: 3 years delivering Power Platform solutions, with strong Canvas App development experience. Solid background in PowerApps customisation and integration. Experience building workflows and automation using Power Automate. Strong C# plugin development experience (for Dynamics integrations). Experience working in Azure and DevOps environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills. Highly Regarded: .NET development background. Experience within Queensland Government or large enterprise environments. Agile/Scrum delivery experience. Familiarity with Web APIs and modern cloud-based architecture patterns.
