You’ll conduct intake, assessment, triage and provide brief intervention — ensuring every caller is safe, supported and connected to the right services. Duties Deliver high‑quality clinical intake, assessment, risk evaluation and brief support Provide immediate mental‑health assistance and coordinate referrals Act as an escalation point and support peers within the team Maintain accurate, confidential notes and documentation Skills & Experience Strong experience in mental‑health intake, assessment and brief intervention Skilled in trauma‑informed practice, risk assessment and safety planning Confident working in a fast‑paced, phone‑based clinical environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Mandatory Qualifications You must hold ONE of the following: Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration Social Worker with AASW membership Masters‑level Counsellor with PACFA Clinical registration or ACA Level 3 or Level 4 Plus the ability to obtain: Working with Children / Vulnerable People check Baseline AGSVA security clearance About the Organisation Join a national service dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of individuals and families across Australia.
