Description Hutcheon and Pearce Parts Interpreter | Full Time Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (Rotational Saturday’s 8am – 12pm as required) Bowral, NSW As a Parts Interpreter at Hutcheon & Pearce in Bowral, you’ll be right at the centre of keeping our customers and our region moving . You’ll be the vital link between customers, technicians, and the Southern Highlands’ farming, construction, and forestry communities, providing expert advice, diagnosing parts requirements, managing orders, and responding to enquiries with confidence. From the front counter to the workshop floor, you’ll help keep our service team stocked, supported, and ready to deliver. Every day brings hands‑on problem solving, variety, and the satisfaction of making a real impact for local customers who rely on us. What You’ll Be Doing Provide trusted advice by matching customers with the right parts and services Support Service Technicians by ensuring they have the parts needed to keep work moving Accurately interpret parts requirements and place orders in a timely manner Receive, check, and correctly store incoming stock Proactively follow up back orders and shortages to minimise delays Maintain a clean, organised, and customer‑ready parts department Keep product knowledge up to date and participate in ongoing sales training What You’ll Bring Strong customer service skills Experience in the Automotive, Agricultural or Construction sectors (preferred) High level of initiative, organisation & time management Basic data entry knowledge Ability to work independently and in a team Commitment to safe work practices Forklift license preferred (we can help you get one!)
