About This Role Your new role: We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the Bayside Emergency Department Mental Health Team, delivering advanced clinical care and leadership for people presenting with mental health and behavioural concerns. Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral for patients presenting to the Emergency Department with addiction and mental health concerns. Deliver rapid, evidence-based mental health interventions in collaboration with emergency and multidisciplinary teams. Lead and support nurse-led models of care, improving patient flow, clinical outcomes and service integration. Contribute to education, mentoring and service improvement, including development of ED mental health models of care. About You You are a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with strong clinical expertise in addiction and mental health and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in fast-paced clinical environments. Endorsed Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a Master's level NP qualification. Significant clinical experience in mental health and/or addiction services, ideally within acute or emergency settings. Demonstrated ability to lead clinical practice, support multidisciplinary teams and drive service improvement.
