About The Role The Senior Customer Support Officer (EMS) reports to the EMS Operations Team Leader and is responsible for delivering timely and effective second-level ICT support, for the Education Management System (EMS) used in school and preschool settings across South Australia. The Senior Customer Support Officer (EMS) uses their technical expertise and effective interpersonal skills to consistently deliver responsive and supportive ICT service, contributing to the overall efficiency of EMS operations across the Department for Education. Qualifications Essential: Nil Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in computer science or a related field. Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
