SAP Technical Project Manager - NSW Government Rate: Up to $980.00 Super per day Location: Sydney: Surry Hills, Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park. (3 days per week onsite) Contract: Initial term through to 30 June 2027 Start: ASAP A major public sector organisation is undertaking a significant ERP program designed to modernise its core enterprise systems and retire legacy platforms. As part of this multiyear transformation, we are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager to support the uplift to a nextgeneration SAP environment. About the Role In this handson delivery role, you will manage technical workstreams within the SAP upgrade program, coordinating daytoday activity across functional teams, developers, integration specialists, and delivery partners. You will track progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure all components are ready for testing, cutover, and operational transition. You will also work closely with business stakeholders to ensure the upgraded SAP environment aligns with requirements and is prepared for adoption. Key responsibilities include: Managing daily delivery across SAP technical workstreams Coordinating technical and functional resources across multiple teams Overseeing configuration, development, integration, and testing activities Supporting solution design reviews and architectural alignment Managing risks, issues, dependencies, and technical constraints Coordinating vendor activity and monitoring milestone delivery Supporting system testing, defect triage, and cutover planning Maintaining schedules, documentation, and regular progress reporting About You You will bring extensive experience in the delivery of SAP projects within complex, largescale environments. You will ideally have: Strong background in SAP delivery across enterprise environments Understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and integration points Experience managing project priorities and driving outcomes Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Exposure to structured project management methodologies What to do next?
