Open to Syd, Bris or Mel Leading Australian Bank Attractive remuneration on offer About the Role We are supporting a leading international renewable energy developer in the expansion of their Australian platform. As part of this growth, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale portfolio (>1GW) of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This role will play a critical position between senior leadership and project execution teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget across multiple concurrent developments. Key Responsibilities Project & Program Delivery Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, BESS, hybrid) Oversee projects from late-stage development through construction, commissioning, and handover Manage delivery across a portfolio environment rather than a single asset Stakeholder & Interface Management Act as the key interface between internal teams (development, grid, commercial) and external stakeholders Manage EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and key suppliers Navigate complex interfaces including grid connection, REZ requirements, and regulatory frameworks Commercial & Risk Management Monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance against key milestones Identify and mitigate delivery risks across multiple projects Support contract negotiation and administration (EPC, BoP, TSA, etc.) Leadership & Coordination Provide leadership across project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability Work closely with Project Directors and Head of Construction to align delivery strategy Support scaling of internal delivery capability as the Australian platform grows Key Requirements Experience 10 years’ experience in renewable energy or infrastructure project delivery Proven track record delivering utility-scale solar, BESS, or hybrid projects Experience managing multiple projects or program-level delivery (>500MW–1GW) Background with IPP, developer, or Tier 1 EPC contractor Technical & Commercial Capability Strong understanding of: Grid connection processes and NEM requirements EPC contracting structures and delivery models Project finance interfaces and commercial drivers Leadership & Stakeholder Skills Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments Strong communication skills across technical and executive levels Experience working in fast-paced, scaling organisations Why This Role Opportunity to play a foundational role in building a >1GW Australian portfolio High level of ownership and visibility within a growing international platform Exposure across wind, solar, BESS, and hybrid projects Consultant joy@bluefinresources.com.au Reference number: BH-61899 Profession:Projects & TransformationProject / Program Delivery Company: BlueFin Date posted: 25th Mar, 2026
