Being a Fertiliser Depot Assistant with AG Warehouse We’re seeking a Fertiliser Depot Assistant to join our team in Katunga, supporting the safe and efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of fertiliser products for local growers. This is a hands‑on role, based in a regional depot environment. It is not a retail or customer‑facing position, but a critical support role during peak fertiliser demand periods. You’ll work closely with a small, experienced team to ensure fertiliser is delivered accurately, safely, and on time — particularly during the busy sowing and spreading season. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading Bulk fertiliser products (up to 1 tonne) Operating site equipment such as: Front‑end Loader Forklift Blending, liquid application and conveyor systems Loading trucks for farm deliveries Stock receival, stacking and basic inventory checks General depot housekeeping including spill management, dust control, and site cleanliness Supporting extended hours during peak season periods (March to July) Operating forklift and loader equipment where licensed (training and licence support provided if required) About You Forklift licence – highly regarded (training supported if needed) Front‑end loader experience – desirable, training provided on the job HC licence – advantageous but not required Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour Safety‑focused and able to follow established procedures Reliable, punctual, and capable of handling peak‑season demands Comfortable working in a small team environment Willing to learn, take direction, and develop new skills What We Offer Monday to Friday roster, typically 8:00am – 4:00pm Overtime expected during peak season (no Saturday work) On‑the‑job training and licence support A stable role supporting local farming operations in a close‑knit team Are you ready to play a critical role supporting regional agriculture? – If so, please click Apply to submit your application.
