Peaceful Companionship Amidst Nature Community Aged Care Volunteer Role – Somersby Connecting locals with one on one social visits We are seeking a local to visit a lovely elderly female client living in Somersby, who values meaningful connection, calm conversation, and shared time in peaceful environments. She enjoys gentle outings and relaxed activities that centre around nature, reading, animals, and quiet moments together. What the visits may include: Visiting her home in Somersby for friendly companionship and conversation Gentle walks around the property, garden, or nearby nature areas Visiting local nurseries, quiet parks, or botanical spaces Talking about or observing plants, animals, and the natural world Reading together, sharing books, or discussing stories Enjoying a relaxed coffee at a local café Going for scenic drives, including coastal or bushland views Visits are weekly or fortnightly, offering unrushed, one‑on‑one time focused on presence, companionship, and shared interests. This community aged care role is ideal for someone who enjoys slowing down, appreciates nature and gentle conversation, and values creating a calm, supportive connection.
