YOUR ROLE In this KEY leadership role, reporting to the CEO (with outstanding multiple credentials), you will enjoy the autonomy/freedom satisfaction rewards of: Building fulfilling relationships interacting with a broad range of clients (approx 50% very successful ‘high net worth’ sophisticated investors ); Preparing accounts, financial statements, electronic working papers, BAS/annual GST returns and income tax returns for: 1)individuals; 2) SMSFs (self-managed super funds); 3)companies; and 4) trusts ; Liaising with ASIC and ATO [regarding assessments, payments, penalties and remissions, queries and other matters that may arise]; Managing advising on all compliance/administrative requirements and lodgement deadlines for clients; 2 junior tax accountants; WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU? WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: Have a degree in accounting/commerce/business or similar are fully CA/CPA qualified; have a minimum of 4 years or MORE TAX accounting experience preparing tax returns & financial statements for individuals, SMSFs, Companies, Trusts [all essential]; have strong technical knowledge practical application of Australian income tax law/regulations ; have solid Microsoft Office ( Word/Excel ) skills have used CLASS SUPER and XERO [both essential]; can work autonomously, manage your own clients are highly results and deadline-driven; desire a long-term hands-on LEADERSHIP role with a leading growing specialist wealth/investments manager/financial advisory firm.
