Key responsibilities include : 1) interviewing inventors; 2) drafting technical descriptions of inventions/industrial designs advising on examination reports;3) interpreting/analyzing specifications/drawings/standards/literature/productsprocesses using your technical expertiseknowledge; 4) doing analyzing searches of inventions/designs; 5) preparing submissions to government patent/design offices to protect your clients’ patents/designs. WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: have a minimum 12 months’ post-qualification experience (up to Senior Associate level) as a registered Australian/NZ patent attorney [or are an overseas qualified patent attorney currently nearing qualification in Australia/NZ]; have a degree or higher qualifications [eg Masters/PHD] in mechanical engineering or similar; have strong analytical technical skills/knowledge; have some hands-on experience in prosecuting/drafting patents [desirable] ; have outstanding communication, time management and people interaction skills; REFERENCE: MARIA YUN ()
