Our client, Apex Masonry , is seeking experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics to join their team. The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy trucks and equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: Perform regular maintenance and inspections on trucks, trailers, and related equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform repairs Conduct engine overhauls, brake and transmission repairs, and suspension work Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues Maintain detailed service records and job documentation Respond to breakdowns and perform roadside repairs when necessary Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent At least 3 years of proven experience as a diesel motor mechanic, preferably with heavy vehicles Knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems Desirable Attributes: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team Good time management and organizational skills Apex Masonry offers a supportive environment and opportunities to work on a variety of heavy vehicles and machinery.
