Our Client, Big Steel Sheds , is looking for Structural Engineers experienced in steel structures to join our team. You will be responsible for modeling, detailing, and managing structural steel projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and delivering high-quality technical documentation. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain structural steel models and engineering documentation using Tekla Structures. Prepare engineering plans and workshop/site details using Tekla and AutoCAD. Review architectural and structural drawings for accuracy, compliance, and constructability. Perform engineering verification of steel members, connections, and assemblies prior to fabrication. Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Generate shop drawings, NC data, and DXF files to support fabrication and construction. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to resolve engineering issues. Conduct site visits to verify structural conditions and implementation of designs. Essential Criteria Extensive experience with Tekla Structures and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing, design principles, and relevant standards.
