About This Role Your new role: As the Hypertension Clinical Nurse Leader, you will provide advanced specialist care while driving service excellence and innovation. You will be accountable for contemporary, evidence-based nursing practice and play a key role in strengthening clinical governance, education, and quality improvement initiatives. In This Role, You Will Provide expert, person-centred hypertension care using advanced clinical judgement, critical thinking, and contemporary practice standards. Lead and support nursing teams through mentorship, education, clinical consultancy, and collaborative care planning. Drive quality improvement, research engagement, and clinical redesign initiatives aligned with organisational priorities and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Ensure safe medication management and regulatory compliance, including responsibilities under the Medicines and Poisons (Medicines) Amendment Regulation 2024. About You You are an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse with advanced clinical expertise in hypertension and a passion for leadership, quality improvement, and patient-centred care. You Will Bring Advanced clinical knowledge and demonstrated expertise in hypertension nursing practice. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing nursing teams. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience implementing evidence-based practice, quality frameworks, and service improvement initiatives.
