About the role BlueRock Law is looking for a Clerk/Administrator to join our Wills & Estates team. This is a hands-on administrative role supporting a busy practice with a mix of file management, client contact, document preparation and general team support. You’ll work closely with our lawyers and play an important part in keeping matters moving smoothly, with a strong focus on accuracy, professionalism and great client service. About BlueRock Law BlueRock Law is a fast-growing mid-sized law firm that is increasing in revenue year on year. We are part of an entrepreneurial advisory firm with substantial accounting, wealth management, finance, insurance and digital teams that provide holistic advice to our clients in the SME space. What you’ll be doing In this role, you can expect to: Maintain and manage Wills and probate files from intake through to closure, ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Prepare basic drafts of correspondence, forms, schedules and standard documents for review by supervising lawyers. Assist with probate and estate administration tasks, including collation of supporting documents and routine lodgments as directed. Help coordinate the execution of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and related documents, including appointment bookings and signing logistics. Provide professional client contact by phone, email and in person, including routine updates and general administrative support. Maintain accurate matter notes, document naming and records in the practice management system. Support billing, fee notes, debtor follow-up, meeting packs, deeds registry handling and day-to-day office administration. Work with the team to improve processes, maintain templates and embrace technology and AI tools, including Ask Dwayne and LexisNexis, to support efficient and accurate work. Requirements We’d love to hear from people who have: 1–3 years’ experience in a legal support or administrative role, ideally in Wills, estates or probate. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal sensitively with clients. Confidence using practice management systems, document management tools and MS Office. A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to take direction, prioritise and escalate issues appropriately. High levels of discretion, professionalism and care when handling confidential information and original documents. A willingness to learn and embrace AI-assisted tools as part of everyday work.
