Our client, Refresco Australia Pty Ltd, is seeking experienced Fitters to support the maintenance and operation of plant equipment and facilities within beverage production environments. Key Responsibilities: Maintain, install, and repair plant, production, and packaging equipment Detect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults Perform preventative maintenance, mechanical overhauls, shutdowns, and line changeovers Maintain high-speed packaging equipment including fillers, labellers, packers, and conveyors Respond to routine machine issues to minimise downtime Carry out welding tasks and assist with fabrication and repairs as required Ensure all equipment is maintained in line with safety, HACCP, and SOP requirements Communicate effectively with fellow fitters regarding mechanical and electrical issues Promote safe work practices and continuous improvement Equipment includes: Production and packaging machinery Engines, motors, conveyors, and pneumatic systems Hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Requirements: At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role Relevant trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Ability to prioritise urgent repairs and minimise downtime Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
