Our client, RIP Contracting Pty Ltd is looking for Carpenters to join their company who are committed to high-quality workmanship and safety, for both residential and commercial clients. Job Description MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Form work carpentry Review illustrations and specifications to determine job, material and equipment requirements and ensure correct construction. Construct and install roof drainage components and external flashings Cut wall and roof sheets neatly and accurately for the fitment of components such as windows, roof vents and doors. Fit roof vents, windows, sliding and hinged doors in sheds Safely use portable scaffold and or EWP's when working above 2m. Complete building fit outs and framing with timber Build decks and basic staircases Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures, including the use of harnesses Digging footings and setting posts Other tasks as directed Qualification: Relevant experience for a similar role Extensive knowledge of power and hand tools Capable of climbing ladders and manual handling Excellent verbal and written communication Strong attention to detail
