The main tasks and duties for this position are: Monitor inventory levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions of all stock and products Verify accuracy of inventory and orders to ensure control of stock and minimise variances Organise store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance Maintain an empowering and coaching mindset when monitoring progress on targets and goals Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation Inspect areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise Effectively resolve customer concerns to ensure positive outcomes Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays Keep abreast of market trends to identify opportunities for store improvement Analyse sales and revenue reports and support forecasting of store performance Assist in controlling store costs and supporting efficient operations Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Ensure staff follow safety and operational procedures Follow up on maintenance of store facilities, equipment, and premises Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback Assist in training and supervising staff Support recruitment and onboarding of new employees Resolve team conflicts in a constructive manner Monitor store performance and contribute to achieving sales and operational targets Utilise store reports and data to track progress and support decision-making Qualification Relevant experience or qualifications for a similar role Australian Citizens & Permanent Residents only Strong leadership and team management Proficient in customer service recovery and relationship building Sound knowledge of health and safety and food safety regulations Salary offered: $76,000 - $85,000 per annum
