Our client, Davies Automotive Equipment Pty Ltd, is seeking skilled Fitters to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of vehicle hoists, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and industry standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out preventative maintenance servicing of vehicle hoists, including structural inspections, oil changes, hydraulic inspections, and safety mechanism checks Identify hazards and ensure all work is performed in accordance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements Perform repairs on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components, including hoses, cylinders, chains, cables, motors, and switches Install and commission vehicle hoists, including assembly, levelling, anchoring to concrete foundations, and final safety checks Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance work meet relevant safety regulations and manufacturer specifications Essential Requirements: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in similar role Relevant trade qualification in mechanical fitting, engineering, or a related field Physically fit and capable of manual handling and working at heights Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge Valid driver’s licence (advantageous) High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
