We’re seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join a major mining project, supporting delivery across both capital works and professional services. This is a key position responsible for maintaining cost integrity, driving accurate forecasting, and ensuring alignment across project functions. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll play a critical role in managing cost performance, supporting reporting requirements, and contributing to overall project success. Key Responsibilities: Lead cost control activities across the project, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Maintain and update professional services cost tracking and reporting Review capital packages, managing cost growth (specified and unspecified) and contingency Support and enhance the trend management process across multiple project scopes Work closely with contracts and procurement teams to ensure alignment on cost-related matters Align cost data with project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting Prepare and update internal and client-facing reports Prioritise urgent cost activities in a fast-paced project environment About You: Proven experience in a Cost Control role on major mining, construction, or EPC/EPCM projects Strong analytical capability with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to meet reporting deadlines in fast-paced environments Solid understanding of cost forecasting, trends, and project reporting processes Experience working across capital projects and/or professional services cost tracking Ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams including contracts and procurement This is a strong opportunity to join a high-performing project team and contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale development.
