About the Role We're working with a leading global communications organisation to find an RF Field Service Engineer to support their growing Defence operations capability. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the tech, diagnosing issues, working with RF equipment, and keeping critical infrastructure performing at its best. You'll be part of a specialist team responsible for maintaining and supporting communication systems in a Defence environment. You will be involved in troubleshooting a live issue, supporting upgrades or coordinating field activities. Key Responsibilities Supporting the day-to-day performance of RF and satellite ground systems Troubleshooting faults across RF equipment and signal chains Working with field technicians and vendors to resolve issues on-site and remotely Assisting with maintenance, upgrades, and system improvements Keeping clear records of incidents, fixes, and system performance Contributing to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing Playing a part in on-call support to ensure the uptime of critical systems Key Requirement Experience working with RF systems, ideally within a Defence environment Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and signal flow Confidence using test equipment such as spectrum analysers and related tools A practical, problem-solving mindset, someone who enjoys fault-finding Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Willingness to be on-call and travel when required All applications should include your resume as a word document.
