Our client, a local QLD Council, is seeking a Maintenance Planning Engineer to support the delivery of proactive road and drainage asset maintenance programs. You'll play a key role supporting the planning, development, and delivery of capital and maintenance works programs. $58.06 - $61.83 p.h Super 10 month assignment with possibility of extension Full time hours (Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:15pm) Logan QLD 4132 This role involves: Providing technical support for road and drainage maintenance programs Leading a small team of inspectors, technical officers, and junior engineers Developing and managing forward works programs, including defects backlog and inspection programs Project and contract management of capital and maintenance works Conducting customer request investigations and technical assessments Supporting budget development, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards The ideal candidate will have: Strong experience in road construction and maintenance Proven leadership experience managing performance Demonstrated project and contract management experience Strong planning, organisational, and financial management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office and project/asset management systems White Card and C Class Driver's Licence Degree in Engineering or related discipline highly regarded RPEQ registration (or ability to obtain within 12 months) If this sounds like you and you're interested in the role, please apply now - I look forward to hearing from you!
