The Role This is a high-stakes position where your ability to solve "logistical puzzles" is key. You will be responsible for the end-to-end allocation of a specialist fleet, ensuring every over-dimensional load is planned, permitted, and executed safely and profitably. Key Responsibilities Strategic Allocation: Manage daily scheduling for a specialized fleet of heavy haulage assets and pilots. OD Coordination: Oversee the complexities of over-dimensional transport, including route planning and permit requirements. Operational Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, sub-contractors, and clients. Efficiency & Compliance: Optimize fleet utilization while maintaining strict adherence to NHVR regulations and safety standards. Problem Solving: Rapidly adjust plans in response to site delays, permit changes, or mechanical issues. What We’re Looking For Heavy Haulage Expertise: Proven experience in transport allocation, specifically within the heavy haulage or OD space . Logistical Mindset: Deep understanding of deck heights, weight distributions, and pilot coordination. Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
