SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT - BELLA VISTA = 4 days on site Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly expanding, multi-entity organisation with both a national footprint and growing international operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Financial Accountant to step into a broad, hands-on role within a high-performing finance team, where you will play a key role in strengthening processes and supporting ongoing scale. Key Responsibilities Support month-end and year-end close across multiple entities Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations Maintain related party balances and key control accounts Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations across areas such as accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, tax, and other complex accounts Prepare and reconcile GST/BAS obligations Assist with tax provisioning and calculations across multiple jurisdictions Act as a key point of contact during external audits Prepare audit documentation and respond to auditor queries Identify and implement improvements to financial controls and reporting processes Support ongoing system enhancements and finance process optimisation Contribute to building scalable processes to support continued business growth About You Essential CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion) Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial accounting role Strong experience managing end-to-end month-end processes Proven intercompany accounting and consolidation experience Advanced balance sheet reconciliation capability Experience with inventory or stock accounting Solid understanding of tax, including deferred tax concepts Exposure to audit processes (either in practice or industry) Experience working across multiple entities or jurisdictions Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail Desirable Experience within complex, fast-paced environments Exposure to international operations or multi-country reporting Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. Xero or similar) Involvement in systems or process improvement initiatives Additional Information Full Australian working rights required This is a hybrid position.
