Heavy Diesel Mechanic We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team, in both a hands on role & as a floor mechanic supervisor. This position is based in Morwell. This role is ideal for someone confident in leading a team of workshop mechanics, while working under the Workshop Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of our fleet and equipment including trucks, motor vehicles and heavy machines/equipment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support a team of workshop mechanics Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and prioritise repairs Maintain and service heavy machinery/trucks, and fleet vehicles Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently Coordinate with management and suppliers to ensure timely parts availability Maintain high standards of workmanship to minimise downtime and breakdowns About You: Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Strong leadership and team coordination skills Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude Excellent planning and organisational abilities Ability to balance supervisory duties with mechanical work What We’re Looking For: A reliable, can-do professional who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment.
