About the Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to lead and manage the pastry section of our kitchen. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to oversee all aspects of dessert production while maintaining high standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare, bake, and present a variety of Italian desserts and pastries, including traditional and modern offerings Design and develop dessert menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative concepts Manage the pastry section , including planning daily production, workflow, and service requirements Supervise and train kitchen staff within the pastry section, ensuring consistency and quality Monitor food quality at all stages of preparation and presentation Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards Manage stock levels, including ordering, storing, and rotating ingredients for the pastry section Control food costs and minimise wastage through efficient kitchen practices Requirements Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Patisserie, or relevant qualification Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role Strong knowledge of Italian desserts and pastry techniques Demonstrated ability to manage a pastry section independently Creativity and attention to detail in dessert presentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills How to Apply Please send your resume to:
