This is an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding the customer base and driving commercial success. You’ll influence both strategy and execution, working closely with internal teams to deliver seamless freight solutions and long-term customer outcomes. What’s in it for you? $110,000 – $120,000 Super Commission (OTE 200k) Car Allowance Sell Domestic Transport, Global Freight Forwarding & 3PL Warehousing New Brisbane Depot | Hybrid Work Model Tailored Induction | High Autonomy | New Management Collaborative, growth-focused team environment What you’ll do: Build and manage a pipeline of new business across domestic transport, international freight forwarding (Air & Ocean), and 3PL solutions Identify, target, and win new clients across key industry sectors, developing tailored logistics solutions to meet their needs Lead client meetings and presentations, positioning end-to-end freight solutions across local and global supply chains Develop and execute growth strategies to drive revenue across both domestic and international service offerings Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals aligned with commercial and operational requirements Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to deliver competitive, seamless freight solutions Maintain accurate CRM data, track pipeline performance, and forecast revenue across multiple service lines Meet and exceed sales targets while proactively managing KPIs Build long-term client relationships, providing ongoing support across domestic and global freight movements Stay informed on market trends, trade lanes, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities What you’ll bring: 2 years’ experience in business development or sales within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain A proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding sales targets Strong industry network with a solid understanding of trade lanes and customs processes A self-driven, results-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously A team-first attitude, underpinned by integrity, reliability, and resilience Experience with CargoWise (preferred, not essential) Strong CRM capability with a structured, disciplined approach to managing pipelines Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted If you're as excited by this opportunity as we are and to learn more about the position please call Phoebe Ditchburn on 0483 988 071 or email pditchburn@woodsco.com.au Woods & Co Recruitment is committed to creating a positively diverse and inclusive workforce that values all backgrounds and experiences.
