We’re currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Scheduler / Administration Support to join our team. The Role: In this dynamic and hands-on position, you will work closely with production, planning, and procurement teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll play a key role in coordinating production schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient workflow across the business. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain weekly production schedules, aligned with current capacity and demand Create, issue, and manage work orders and job instructions across departments Liaise with the purchasing team to ensure materials are available to meet production timelines Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required Communicate schedule updates and changes clearly to production teams and stakeholders Support inventory control processes and assist with forecasting activities Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning and workflow processes What Success Looks Like: Production teams receive clear, realistic, and achievable schedules Workflow progresses smoothly across many work centres Teams and stakeholders remain aligned on priorities and timelines Potential issues are identified early and resolved collaboratively A bout You: Highly organised with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience in scheduling, administration, or manufacturing (preferred but not essential) Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Why Join MITS Alloy?
