Auto Electrician – Forrestfield, WA CJD Trucks has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Auto Electrician to join its team based in Forrestfield working with the world famous Kenworth & DAF Trucks . Applicants with working experience in other capital equipment areas like Agricultural, Heavy Plant & Machinery along with applicants working in Automotive pre-delivery centers are also encouraged to apply. Main /Duties Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems on Kenworth and DAF heavy vehicles including trucks, prime movers and trailers Carry out fault finding using manufacturer diagnostic software and scan tools Repair and install wiring looms, sensors, ECUs, Alternators, starter motors, lighting systems and accessories Accurately complete job cards, service reports and warranty documentation Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and dealership procedures Requirements – Relevant trade qualification Ability to follow safe work practices as a priority within the workplace Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Have a high level of self-motivation and ability to work without direct supervision Ability to investigate and problem solve a wide range of issues Have excellent computer skills both with standard PC programs and diagnostic equipment/programs Have an Air Conditioning Ticket (desirable) Willingness to support, mentor and train apprentices What’s In it for you?
