Well, not only it’s next Finance Manager, but potentially it’s next Controller, the Finance Director and perhaps even CFO. High performance culture where you can ditch the suit & tie Role Profile: Supervise, lead, coach, mentor and develop a team of three, which will likely grow in the next 12-18 months. Drive month-end reporting, manage local statutory requirements in and prepare the country reporting pack for HO (US). Prepare monthly management commentary on accounts, painting a clear picture of what's happening on the ground in each country (Australia & New Zealand). Review and oversee all the BAU tasks, including ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, tax compliance, etc. Work closely with the regional Tax Manager on preparing regional tax entries and transfer pricing. Jump in on any financial, systems or strategic projects that will affect your team & remit. Successful Candidate Profile: Professional qualified in accounting (Chartered Accountant, CPA, CA) Ideally, you will have gained your initial training in a Big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm, but it is absolutely necessary to also have commercial experience. This is an incredibly dynamic and fluid industry, so candidates from FMCG or retail would be preferred. You will thrive off a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment. Experience with a large multinational business is essential (typical matrix structure here). Proven experience of successfully managing at least a small team of 2-3 direct reports. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Generally, be a good human being and come to work with a smile.
